Does anyone know how I can go back to an earlier version than this latest one that was released just this week? My templates do not work now. UGH.
Thank you in advance,

oops sorry for the double post.
One of the bug of the latest MT4 Build 711+
As I see, the brokers migration to other trading platforms already started
Dont think so. No signs of preparation for that which would very likely include 3 to 6 months of advance notice at least to customers to get ready. The timeline for troubles should be counted from about 5 months ago, when the forced upgrade came into existence. Notwithstanding afew months to conduct the necessary negotiations with MT4 and the alternative broker and then deciding on a shift or not will take many more months.
Plus, if an avalanche has started due to massive broker feedback, MT4 would have done emergency actions like emergency actions to us customers apologising for issues/detailing actions to resolve issues/hate all upgrades and use original build to resolve all issues/change of MT4 management. None of the measures above have happened.
Clearly, the avalanche hasnt started yet. Serious consideration by brokers will only start in afew more months, by which time, indecision will come due to MT4 inching alittle more forward to resolving it's multiple buggy issues.
In any case, hope brokers will switch to a MQL4 compatible platform if there is a wish to switch. Only by doing so will there be an ability to support various indicators coding implementation & so will TSD be able to move in a single direction too instead of being splintered.

No official answer yet, but as I see, they are shifting platform
Interesting
On one demo account (not the upper broker) it took me at least 5 minutes to open an order after the news today - even when the prices were stalled, I was getting "of quotes" error. VD working at demos already

Manual orders or EA orders?
Bye bye MetaTrader 4! MONEX Group formally announces phase-out
For Japanese FX giant MONEX Group, the provision of the vastly popular and market share dominant MetaTrader 4 platform lasted just over a year, having been introduced in August 2013, and is now being consigned to the history books.
Subsequent to a previous announcement that MONEX Group was preparing to move away from MetaTrader 4 and concentrate on the provision of its proprietary platform MONEX FX Premium, the company has now announced the schedule relating to the phasing out of MetaTrader 4.
Today, MONEX Group has confirmed that at close of business on November 7, 2014, it will cease to offer MetaTrader 4, and has released a letter to clients in order to provide a full schedule of events relating to the matter.
The letter to clients states that once the MetaTrader 4 platform has been discontinued, MONEX Group will settle open trades as of 1.00pm on November 8, 2014 at the exchange rate which is current at that specific time.
Furthermore, MONEX Group will cease to handle deposits and withdrawals as of 1:00 on Saturday, 8 November 2014. However, clients can continue to request withdrawal via their “MT4 My page” within a period which spans between November 10, 2014 and November 14, 2014. Should clients not make withdrawals during that period, MONEX Group will act on their behalf and process the withdrawals without action from the client.
MONEX Group has confirmed that, should the customer have the Securities and Exchange comprehensive account with the firm, MONEX Group will credit the deposit to that account, otherwise MONEX Group will withdraw the client funds to the bank account associated with the trading account.Bye bye MetaTrader 4!
