Big changes for MT4, in a few weeks - page 259

Build 920 is very annoying. Every time started, MT4 always shows Strategy Tester sub window by default.

Already tried every possibilities to hide it:

- hide with Ctrl+R -> restart MT4

- saved profile without Strategy Tester window -> restart MT4

- TestVisualEnable=false -> parameter in the configuration INI file -> restart MT4

- Menu Tools -> Options, Server tab -> "Keep personal settings and data at startup" -> check -> restart MT4

- Data_Folder\config -> rename terminal.ini -> restart MT4 -> hide with Ctrl+R -> restart MT4

None of above solve the issue, the Strategy Tester sub window keep showing every time MT4 started.

Please help

I don't see such problem, running MT4 build 920 under Windows 10 64bit.

What windows are you using?

Windows 8.1 Pro 64-bit with display resolution 2560x1600

It should work OK (no reports of incompatibility with windows 8.1)

Did you try the metatrader service desk?

Every instance of MT4 crashes on my computer, if the Market tab of the Terminal pane is clicked. Not sure if it started with 920, I just encountered the problem.

One of my instances is not able to keep Metaeditor window settings any more with b. 920.

All of us who have build 920 issues better write to the ServiceDesk instead in here.

Go to your www.mql5.com Profile, look on the left hand side, you will see a link to the Service Desk then write your issues in there

I still have no problems with build 920. Maybe I am the lucky one
