PolyFitScalper - page 22

It is GBPUSD from same account:

Big loating drawdownbut no any loss.

Why?

Because this GBPUSD is notgoing suddenly to one direction for 1,000 pips with no retracement. Besides, seems, this pair is too much "manipulated" ... so it is always "zigzaging" by price.

It is USDJPY:

Seems fine but all the pairs with JPY are dangerous or scalping: seems this pair is too depending on the other pairs' movement.

Files:

It is GBPJPY:

As we see - it is big floating drawdown: almost same performance with GBPUSD.

Such a strange situation for now: GBPUSD and GBPJPY are similar by trading

Something is really going on with USD those days

Files:

It is GBPCHF:

This combination of GBP/CHF (too-much-manipulated/no-one-care) is giving some averaging results or drawdown.

Files:

Many many years ago (it was metatrader 3 in that time) I traded USDCHF as the most safe pair. Besides, this USDCHF is the leading pair in the combination of EURUSD/USDCHF - means - this pair is starting the movement first in most of the cases.

By the way - 1.60a survived too.

Initial deposit size for this EA depends on max floating drawdown (distance between blue line and yellow line in dollars on my images).

That's all news.

thanks ND

Thank you very much.

I appreciate your work.

thank you

what about adding a piece of code so that if the market moves x number of pips within x number of minutes it shuts down for like an hour or something? in my opinion this could help keep you out of some crazy spiking conditions like after a news release or something?

or

it will just make the ea useless im not posative but i think that it might be worth a try, no?

newdigital:

What to learn?

We need market condition tool to stop/start automatically any EA based on market condition.

It is hard to program but we really need it.

It was already started to program but it will be great if we will finish it for few month.

It will be something as adding the Momentum indicator.

Similar with QQ EA: past movements ...

It should be taken the market condition or the next for the next day, or in the morning or the rest of the day - just to know: will EA trade or not (automatically of course).

There are some codes for that and some EAs are working based on it.

And it is USDCHF from same account:

Very predictable (not "sudden movement").

Distance between blue line (equity on open trades) and yellow line (balance) is floating drawdown (in dollars).

The Suisse National Bank has intervened heavily in the last weeks to stop a fast stall of the EURCHF price. They kept the price first at 1,43 until May 6 and then at 1,41 until May 19. With the German prohibition of short selling they pushed the price up again together with other players that tried to close their short orders. All that influenced of course the USDCHF pricing although it was not directly intervened by the SNB.
