mladen,

Would it be possible and helpful to take the dynamic zone ocn nmm & ocn mas indicator and add the super smoother 1 or 2 to it?? Thanks so much for all your help on the forum.

Here you go It is using now super smoother instead of TEMA and the results is immediately smoother than the result when TEMA is used. It allows experimenting with longer spuer smoother periods since the lag added will not be big

mladen,

Thanks so much. It now looks much smoother than original with very little lag if any on some areas! Much easier on the eyes and removes distracting potential mistakes.

Thanks once again for another improvement.

A version of ocean nst that uses super smoother instead of the default TEMA as it is in the original. Again the goal was to see if smoother result can be beneficiary in trading, and I think that it is (less false signals and cleaner momentum picture of the indicator)

This is RSI of a smoothed nma (the nma 2). Pre-smoothing (filtering) and pos-smoothing (of the already calculated nma) possible to apply to nma before it is used in rsi calculation. At a first glance and after a visual inspection it seems to be giving good results.

Some experimenting with the pre- and pos- smoothing lengths and levels seems to be appropriate - depending on the way how and for what one intends to use the indicator - for trend detection (in which case probably some lower values for levels seems to be better) or for a possible reversals detection (in which case a bit higher values for levels seem to be better). Default parameters are set somewhere in the middle

Mladen: do you have time to add mtf to some of the core indicators for evaluation, say ndx, nmm, nmr and nxc? Thanks.

Here's the one's you mentioned, added alerts for the overbought and oversold, and cross of zero lines for the other 2.
