Adaptive lookback indicators - page 32

Hi pooh123,

As I remember - it is the trading on the direction of divergence looking for MACD (confirmation) and colors of the bars (confirmation).

About divergence and how to use it - look at the image on this post:

https://www.mql5.com/en/forum/175886/page2

Hi NewDigital,

Thanks for your quick response. In this case, do you use MACD for its divergence or just its regular confirmation- blue for long and pink for short ?

pooh

I traded divergence lines with confirmation of overbough/oversold MACD waiting for the color of the bar to be changed on the close bar (or the bar was already in correct color so I did not wait in this case).

Divergence lines - strictly according to the image on this post:

https://www.mql5.com/en/forum/175886/page2

(means: 2 lines - one line is on separate MACD window and the other line is on main window = direction of the trade).

It is what I remember

This is pa adaptive price trender its also mtf. The chart picture is with default settings except using 4 hour pa pt on hourly chart, price is the dodger blue and the violet is price trender, the other is an adaptive cci.

Nice

Hi Maxwell,

Added chalkin money flow to the mix(i like the accurate divergence signals) but of course easily changed out.

EMA like indicators are very "acceptable" for adaptive calculations since they depend only on 1 previous value and since they do not have to have a integer calculation period (unlike common belief, ema 1.5 for example make perfect sense math wise). So, decided to see what happens to double smoothed ema if it gets adapted by a phase accumulation. And it seems that the results are not bad. Result is still smooth, it is still fast and it seems to be adaptive as much as it is probably needed..

Here is an example of a 1 cycle and 3 cycle phase accumulation adaptive double smoothed emas on a same screen as a kind of a "cross following" system, and as it is seen it is rarely giving false signals. With some other choice of cycles it might be even better, but for that one would need to experiment a bit more than I did so far

Hi Mladen, its me again, asking the same thing again.

Is it possible to add histogram version or dot version for this one?

Thank you

PA adaptove dsema bars ...

yuhu

Try out this one It is a "bars" version" and it colors the bars on chart depending on the slope of the phase accumulation adaptive double smoothed EMA (placed the PA adaptive dsema on the chart to just in order to show what exactly does this one do)

Thank you very much as usual mr Mladen

If anything good, i will certainly let you know.

Take care

Histogram PA adaptive DSEMA

Hello Mladen,

I hope this message finds you well!

I would second Yuhu's initial request to please have a histogram version of the above indicator if possible. Would help my screen real-estate a lot!

Thank you very much and all the best,

Daniel

...

I really though that I posted it

Anyway here it is. The histo version of phase accumulation adaptive double smoothed EMA
