Hi everyone,
Maybe this topic is too old but i need to ask. I've been trying for a few days to display renko bars but I can only make it to the point when the new M2 chart pops up and it says "Waiting for update". That's all
.
Sometimes it displayed well but not updating and so creating new candles... I've the M1 chart running and did everything that was in the manual. Also, I need to close metatrader before drop the EA in the M1 chart so M2 shows up on the offline list.
Soz for my bad english and thank you all in advance. I'm learning a lot.

Renko trading with low brick pips you have to babysit the trades like scalping trading. That's why I trade Daily. I am too lazy trade for a few pips. Renko EA would be beneficial that we have some time to visit also our girlfriends and spend some won money with them. Ha, ha, ha...I have idea about Renko EA but nobody is capable to do it! Renko trading is the same like play in casino black & red. Bricks are bricks. Hermes

I do play poker online while waiting for a trade setup and believe me, casino and poker are way too tough to make money compared to just scalping in a few hours in a session, this week I've crossed 300 pips , maybe closing to 400 pips, just scalping EU EJ and UJ for not more than a couple of hours of the London or US sessions.

well. I did it. Thanks guys. It works perfect now. but... This chart is using like 40% of my CPU power and metatrader is getting slow and bars appear after some lag everytime so i cant trade. Missing every trend
I tested it in 2 different PCs, one of them is really good and still happened. Anyone had the same problem?
Without the template, it works smooth and perfect.
Now it works better, dunno why xD. Still a bit slowing down metatrader but is ok to trade. What broker do you suggest me to test it in a demo account? One besides the one is suggested in the first post. Small spread since i'm testing with fxpro and eurusd spread is 2.5. it sucks.

perhaps you can try to reduce the number of bars that you are processing
Might be some serious resistance on related pairs next week. I like to have Ichi charts open often so as to get an idea as to serious support and resistance. May too old fashioned but I use Ichi often.
I'be been reading old posts and read that most of you recommend to trade with a SL of about 20 pips... how is that possible for scalping? i mean, I will need a good win ratio to get profit. when do you close your trade with profit? I see entries prety clear but closing trades i'm not still sure.

Best way to establish stop loss and take profit is to manually back test a couple huindred entries and see where the action is.
A take profit is very difficult to establish, I usually use 200 or 300 and a trailinbg stop or /and breakeven.

I will have to do the opposite. Anyway I won't quit.
My problem is that the renko bars, usually show a big shadows which most of the times are 2 times the size of a brick which trigger my SL. Can I make renko charts look without this "shadows"? They are annoying and It is the main problem so far. The thing is, why does it creates a new short brick when the price went up sometine twice the brick before and end up being a downward brick? Do i miss something?
Here are some examples but there are many of them.
I guess setting SL further will make it better but I don't like to set it so far since I'm trying to scalp.

Hi VaroFX,
Renko is a trend chart, so to break the trend it has to go two bricks in the other direction to form a new trend.
You can set the options for show wicks in the renko builder EA, but i recommend to leave it so you can see how much market retraced and where in the trend.
Try to use bigger brick size as the further you reduce the brick size the more noise and closer you will come to a 1-minute chart noise.
Remember all data on renko is coming from the data on the M1 chart.
