hi. i would like to ask regarding your_lucky ea v2, im trying it on fxopen 4 digit broker and it seems that its not opening any trades. does the ea works on fxopen broker?

My first entry as a member. I've read all 330 pages of this thread. Took me some weeks to absorb. I got to the last page and it seemed to be a who dunnit novel and the end pages were removed. This is a major anti-climactic endeavor. I am so sad that the thread came to this.
I began to use YL v1e on April 1, 2010 and I made some headway with it even though it was said to be outdated. I didn't change it, just let it run as original. This I got from page one as one of the entry specialists in English, so ably put it, RTFM and finish the thread, its all here. Don;t ask so many stupid questions. So I pressed on.
YL-v1e on Alpari-UK M5. did well until about the 15th of the month and then decided to buy when it should have sold and vice versa. I have no idea if the EA lost its mind, the broker viraled it up, or even if my PC had a hand in it. Suffice to say I didn't mess with it. . I would like to know what caused the downturn but, I am afraid the thread may be frail and diseased, but I will try anyway. I came in late by more than a year but I haven't started yet. The next reply will be different and maybe I can learn something from the senior members and those more knowledgeable than I.

YL (and Thunder,FAPTURBO) are scalpers that depend on small spreads in a ranging market. When the market trends or spreads increase, they fail. They are targeted at FX pairs that usually range during particular times of the day. Two years ago such FX pairs existed, and the EA's were profitable. Things changed, spreads increased during the periods when ranging occurred, and the ranging periods are no longer as predictable.
If you can find a way to predict trending markets and get out of YL quickly, you have a winner. But do not hold your breath while you try to find this magical indicator.

But i know some good indicator. That is one by Rita Lasker. And it's free. I tryed it not so long ago. Well, I'm just the beginner and may not know smth about high profits, but now it's profit of $50-80 daily is really OK for me. Unfortunately I can't post a link here... Well, then just google for "Rita Lasker's Free Forex Robot" and you'll find it.
