What is CVSTART and CVEND? Are they suppose to start and end based upon the Period Separator for my chart?

Thanks.... I had tested the float indicator awhile back, I had found the following issues with it:
>> not reliable for all pairs, the best one was USDJPY
>> it will repaint if you close the chart from one day to the next especially if there is a sudden trend change
