I would like to input my little contribution to the topic.
This is the #Soho_Williams_VIX_Fix_Price_v1.2.mq4 only transferred onto candlestick colors by the simple rule if VIX value is greater than or smaller than the MA value.
It produces an image like this:
The wicks are not plotted by this indicator, thus their colors can be preset in MT4.

I have also thought of something else.
Many people don't know much about mql, and remembering which number to apply for MA_Price or MA_Method could be a bit difficult. Since the Built 600 we have a great way to make this easy.
There are the:
extern ENUM_APPLIED_PRICE PRICE =6;
extern ENUM_MA_METHOD SignalMaMode=0;
They will show in the parametrs window in a much more user friendly way, as drop down boxes:

I have modified the Synthetic Vix .
Now it is more easy to read : the line is in right way.
Hope this indicator can help someone.Great Looking for this and the SoHo partner recently this will help with entry points on any time frame
