Nice stats there Simba... you're no spring chicken.
I just checked the USD/CAD chart after reading your post. I guess even an amateur like me myself has to nail one every once in a while. I'm going to spout off another prediction which in all likelihood will back-fire and send me running to the hole I crawled out of.
I'm thinking the pair will open with a 30 to 40 pip gap in your favor (north) come Sunday night. If it doesn't we should have a clear sign of whether she's still heading south by Monday (Tuesday at the latest). If the gap occurs, it's smooth sailing for a couple of weeks - at least.
I hope you don't mind the added comments, just trying to add to your "what if" catalog.

RegardsWell Simba the gap never happened. I was hoping to see a better formation on the monthly pin bar... I didn't get it. I guess the one that's currently formed will have to do... although it could be just a little bit prettier in my opinion. I think between today and tomorrow we'll know for sure. As of right now I would have to say you're sitting in a good spot.
I'm not a big fan of speculating... but I must say it's a lot of fun when it's not on your dollar.
I interviewed a few years ago with Brian Gelber (met him through an acquaintance, and had no idea that he was interviewed in the original Market Wizards book). After a brief 5 min conversation in his office he called me a speculator and kick me out. I took that to mean that speculation was not a good thing. So, till this day I try to avoid it but have a hard time doing so since it seems to be an intrinsic human trait.
Alright, I'm off to baby sit my GBP/USD positions... I've been shorting it since last Wensday... ouch!!! I'm feeling the burn.
