Hello Simba,

I just finish partial test,

Regs,

Popok

Hi popok,

Don`t worry..your parameters were overfitted, probably, pending the other tests results..if you have time, besides finishing the other tests, can you test my best found parameters(chand 35/100,tp 355,above below satl true, and allow reentries true..1 lot mm to 0..no trailing stops..the chandelier is the best trailing stop..,etc,etc) on GBPJPY the full 2.7 years ?

Thanks and regards

Simba

these days maybe no one care about trading? everyone become a EA tester?

simba system will change to EA system? manual trading system ? i notice the post words far away from the first thread.

Manual vs EA - to be or not to be?

I would not assume myself. As per my understanding, there is just effort to extend the great Simbasystem potential going on along with manual improvement. As Malcik has mentioned somewhere in thread before there're folks who don't have enough time to trade manually for many reasons and for them EA might have been a good alternative. And why not. Rather to evolve this system than to narrow it. I guess.

Hi heaven,

I have 2 open trades, short eurgbp and short audusd..and had a very nice ride shorting the aussie 2 days ago..none of the 3 is based on simbasystem..nothing to comment here..so i care about trading

What i don`t care is about repetitive posting(by myself) of the same setup ,continuously..so,i post setups only when i deem them interesting or when i trade them..why don`t you post the setups you feel are interesting?Specially the ones that didn`t work..and we comment..i receive an email everytime somebody posts,so,most of them i can catch very soon and reply if i am available..and you can also post the setups you plan to trade or have traded recently..do it my friend,I will try to help

EA testers..no,my friend..this is manual trading systems and the only thing, besides blindly believing ol`good Simba intuition, that can improve the system is to test it,and EAs allow for systematic and "fast" testing of parameters and substrategies..we are posting the results for everybody who uses the system to learn more about it..to use in their trading,so,I think we care about trading..and we care about people

Simbasystem, hopefully, and thanks to EA testing will be a more profitable and safe system to trade ..AS YOU WISH,manually or automatically..so,what is the problem?..do you want charts?post them,i will help you and comment..you don`t like EAs because you think trading has to be manual?Well, precisely because you love manual trading you must love the testing capabilities and its related improvements in manual trading systems that only EAs can bring..as I do

Hope this helped in clarifying your doubts..and I am eagerly waiting for your posts..;)

Simba

Thanks, you understood it as it is,our reasons, and the way EAs will help us manual traders of systems to improve our results..
