Looks interesting. I added it to a chart and it only has one variable on the input tab. The variable says "currency" and the default is "CHF", not USDCHF. Maybe this means we can put it on any chart and it compares the variable to the chart currency?

It appears to have alarms enabled with a buy or sell recommendation. Right now it shows a 7 pip difference and to sell eurusd.

 

anyone having luck with this?

I've been using it with a T/P of 10 pips on a live account (manual trades - no EA) and the results have been slow, but good (+30 pips since last Friday).

One bad side to this is if you do get on the 'wrong' side of the GDP - its going to take a long time to have that set of trades go to +$$ ...

Anyone else?

and i'm still looking for that indicator to add into the ea

today is my 1st day that i test this ea myself

and i've found that the ea dose not open the next hedge immediately after it close the current hedge

and i'll try to fix this error tonight and will post the edited version soon

don't be tired to follow this thread

i'm a kind of forgetful person then there's always at least 1 error of mine appears

don't be boring guys

or if anyone interested in developing this kind of trading and wanna help

on these brokers the ea works even when AutoLots=false

but not ever work on Alpari : always gives the requote

this one is a more complex than the others (of mine) in the past ..

cos i just realized that there are not only one hedge style in this forex world , but many

like EU and UCHF : as we all know that both are always move the oposite way

then if we buy both eu and uchf at the same time, this means that we buy the hedge move of them

if you lost eu then you still can win uchf..anyway

so i added/changed some external variables as follow
  • Symbol1 : defalt as GBPUSD,
  • Symbol2 : defalt as EURUSD,
  • BuySymbol_1 and
  • BuySymbol_2 : true = buy , false = sell
  • LotsRatio : use for multiplying symbol1-lots : 1.5 means MaxRisk of symbol2-lots= MaxRisk*1.5, while Maxrisk of symbol1-lots = Maxrisk
this can allow you to hedge even the same pair, just by set the symbol1 and 2 to the same type

and set one of the Buysymbol_x to be true then leave another to be false

this means that you do both buy and sell the same pair at the same time

but still has no any indicator added cos i dont know which indicator is the best and i think you guys can add it/them yourself

i did not try it myself yet, but it compiled OK and backtest is work with no error (same pair hedging)

i think it's better to hedge GU and EG (both short) by maybe 1.2-1.5 ratio

and hedge EU and UJ (both long)

cos today i got a very nice profit with EU/UJ, it open and close more than one time in a day

maybe bcos they both cover all asian-euro-NY session

but never try GU/EG yet..hope it gives the good result too
