What is 5 digits and what is 4 digits broker?

Why we are talking about 4 or 5 digits?
Because almost all EAs were coded for 4 digits broker.
Which brokers are using 5 digit price?
Alpari UK and some others.
IBFX is 4 digits.

By the way, if you use
PointRatio = 10
so it is for 5 digit broker.
If PointRatio = 1 so it is for 4 digit broker (in the settings of the EA - I am using Igorad's code).
If the broker desided to add the other 5 digits to the price so we will add the other 5 zeros to this settings PointRatio

Please be sure that you changed indicator as well (new indicator for 5 digits were recoded - inside same zip file). So, this settings (PointRatio) will not work here if you did not change indicator to 5 digit or to opposite 4 digits way.

It depends on the system and EAs ...
If EA is swiched off (in the way of EA turned off in the MetaTraders settings. or in the way of close your computer) so EA will not work. Will not work means: will not open and close and process the trades. If you had some trades so it may be closed based on stop loss or take profit which you put before.
For example, 2 persons are trading.
1 opened buy for GBPUSD, placed stop loss and take profit, closed computer and went to sleep.
The other one opened buy for GBPUSD, did not place stop loss and take profit values and went to sleep.
1st person: the trade may be closed at night with computer closed. Because the trade had stop loss and take profit.
2nd person: the trade will be opened and he may get margin call (can lose all money on deposit).
quick question about EA
this is my first post in this forum and im impressed with the amount of feedback the admins to put into this site.. i join the elite section 2 days ago.
my question is when i am running a ea and it opens a order, will it continue with the order even if i had to restart MT4 or the computer... or say i turned off the ea over the w/end with open orders from the EA. i been using alpha, goldwarrior, SBS, step
also i was running SBS or alpha i think (not sure if it was this EA now) and it opened 3 pending orders with lot sizes of 1.3.... i did some adjustments to the settings so it opens .1 lot sizes from now on.. with the current orders still pending do i have to manually adjust the lot sizes to .1 from 1.3 or will the ea do the adjustment when the order is fulfilled? or do i have to delete the pending orders and wait again for it to reopen new pending orders?

Yes, of course (in most of the cases). The EA are recognizing the orders according to the name of pair and magic number.
It is in the most of the cases (not for all the cases as it depends on trading system/EA).

Im still overwhelm with so much info here, I need your help to confirm the followings,
1) which version/template is the final one developed?
2) Is the BrainTrading system version 7 the exact copy of eASCTrend?
(I maybe be confused here too, I so sorry about my slow brain here)
3) Other wise, Is there any new indicator(not EA) which its much better
than eASC-Trend? Well, I'm a hand-on person,who needs to trade without EA
, So I dont trade with EA. Would you recommend some Sir?

ASC Trend is more related to eASC Trend. Brain Trading is a different development.
