I have several high performing ea that i have been testing for a while.
in your opinon will you recomend trading multiple ea on one account?
Trading multiply EAs in one account can create many issues ...
- magic number shoud be different for all;
- if 2 EAs are trying to open/modify etc orders almost simultaniously so Metatrader will prevent this action
and so on
many many issues.
We are planning to continue creating such as Portfolio Manager: tool to manage portfolio and switch on/off EAs based on predicted market condition.
But this task (Portfolio Manager) are too complicated.
I was thinking about RAS version 2 ... because
- in summer for example we will have a lot of statstics concerning the performance;
- we already started EA Switcher here in elite section (there is thread about it);
- predicting the market condition and creation the tool for that were already started in elite indicators' section.
So, for RAS: it will be just am improveent for the next version. Of course it is possible to do with free signals for the beginning and then we will add some commercial ones.
But for you ... You can use 2 or 3 EAs if they are trading on different timeframes. For example, 1 EA is trading often on M5 timeframe, the other one - D1 tmeframe, and so on.
In this case EAs will not be interrupt each other by actions.
Because Metatrader as software can not do/perform 2 actions simultaniously. It should be started one action (modify sl for example) and finished, and the other action (one buy for 2nd EA for example) and so on.

Just to clearify it is dangerous to run multiple ea's at the same time on one account but if you do make sure it is on diffrent time frames?
Depends how many EAs ...
For example, you can run Scalp_net1.5 on M5 and StpMaExpert_v1.45 on M30 and few pairs Fozzy on D1. But you should also know that is 2 EAs will want to do something so Metatrader will perform 1 action on the time.
RAS is different as it is 1 EA.
Starting a new EA
I am starting to create a new EA but I am looking for a good trigger to open the trades without too many consecutive losses. As long as I can get a win% of over 50% and less than 5 consecutive losses it should work for me.
If anyone has some ideas for indicators or triggers please let me know and I will post my test EA so that we can get started. I have a basic template already with SL, TP, Trailing stop MM etc but I am not happy with the indicators I have tested.
