Scalp_net - page 52

dvk678:
What time frame are you guys running Scalp_net 1.3.32 tf at. 1m or 5m?

It works best on EURUSD on M1.

I answer to myself that by with GMT+1 brokers one should use default timeframe from 8 to 17 when using version 1.3.2/3 tf.

Changing the lot size

i have been working a while trying to change the lot size for the ea and it lets me but still trades at .1. I have also changed the set file - no luck.

How do you change the default lot size? - thanks

Craig

Try to change MaximumRisk = 0 and after that - change lot size. May be it will help.

Automatic money managment

A possible bug: I have opened a live $500 account and it is working well for 0.1 lots and 0.2 lots but anything higher an error message appears in the log saying not enough money. But even at .4 the max loss would be $56.

These are my settings:

magic number:132

each tick mode: false

lots: .2 - this works but can't go any higher

slippage: 3

stoplossmode - true

stoploss - 140

takeprofitmode - true

takeprofit -20

trailingstopmode:false

trailingstop: 20

maximumrisk:0.0

decreasefactor: 3.0

maxorders:10

fromhourtrade: 8

tohourtrade: 18

Any help would be great...this is an awesome EA by the way, i only lose 1 trade a week!.

May be something with leverage or margin?

It is something with the broker and account.

By the way - I am using Scalp_net_1.3.2_tf version.

I did not test bagoomba version yet.

That's the same version I'm using too. It's fairly simple and easy to understand, plus the performance is quite good.

Actually, I made a couple of minor mods to 1.3.2 to fix the handling of the Comment field. It wasn't being cleared at the right times and the English in the comments was a little shaky LOL.
