This should help with the money management on it along with reducing the SL.

It is with timefilter.

And as I understand the Promo01's settings it is the pre-set file for 0.1 lot for M1 timeframe.

I asked Igorad to look at the code and he said that this Firebirds_v063G is preliminary EA (not final). And the timefilter was already inserted inside the code.

Thus I removed my timefilter improvement from the post #81.

As to timefilter with this Firebirs v063G EA you may look at the code:

case 26910: // EURUSD,M30 // optmized 06/03/20

OpeningHour = 6;

ClosingHour = 14;

case 25803: // GBPUSD,M30

OpeningHour = 7;

ClosingHour = 15;

case 26715: // EURCHF,M30 // optmized 06/03/20

OpeningHour = 6;

ClosingHour = 14; [/CODE]

And so on.

The other pairs are like this:

[CODE]/*case : // USDAUD,M30

DVLimit = 8; // included by Renato

OpeningHour = 23; // included by Renato

ClosingHour = 6; // included by Renato

break;*/

So just remove this one /* and that one */ for each the pair. It is already with timefilter and optimized.

So as I understand the authors already optimized the settings for M30 timeframe for each pair including timefilter.

And yes i agree that it is some very preliminary version (not final yet).

I'm very impressed at those results there. Where can v63G be found, or is there another version I'm not aware of that performs like this?

Also, how does one configure the expert advisor, I know where it goes.

But what I'm not sure on, are the SET files, where do these go, in the preset folder?

Which pairs are better, and what's the best way to set this up as you have?

Or can anyone else shed some light for me?

North Finance is in GMT+3.

Alpari is in GMT+2.

Fibo Group is in GMT+2.

So if we have 8 am on North finance we have 7 on Alpari.

My NF platform is GMT +2hrs.

I'm a little overwhelmed with all the posts here, and not sure which one is the right one to download... and how to set the times on these, can you help?

I just downloaded this one, and ran the strategy tester on it (without changing any settings)... and now, i keep getting these alerts saying "excessive loss" and it wont stop.

Any ideas what's causing this?

I tried this and got nothing but losses on it, using the strategy tester.

I guess there's something I'm missing that hasn't been explained on this forum, my eyes are hurting from reading too much..lol

Did you use pre-set file?

Do you know why we are testing this EA?

Did you use timefilter?

Did you read the forward testing statements of this EA?

Do you now that if EA is profitable with strategy tester it means nothing?

But you will have different question after the reading everything. And I know which questions you will have after the reading all this section.
