As I stated, download it from a reputable broker only, so as not to have the officially released version (build 3661) and not the "beta" version.

You mean: I can't download from  https://www.metatrader5.com/en/download, I must be download it from my broker only?

You can download it from MetaQuotes, but it will install the "beta" builds.

By downloading and installing from a reputable broker, you will get the officially released build instead.

But make sure to complete clean out all previous installations so that it does not update to "beta" builds again.

Thank for your info.

I've click Help -- Check Desktop Updates -- Latest Release Version

Then it's updated to version 3776.

I think it's wrong in the program for update roadmap.

p/s:  I don't want to download from broker because they've added addons on it. It's make mt5 runs too heavy, used more resources.

But make sure clean out any "update" folders so that it does not replace them again.

When compared to MT5, MT4 is extremely sluggish. We can do HFT in MT5 (if necessary), but not in MT4, there are a few articles about it with statistics, facts, and evidence. As a result, more brokers are beginning to recommend MT5, particularly for the stock market.

And what apout occupied RAM? Somehow MT5 takes up several times more than MT4. Critical for hosting on VPS.

MT5 is far superior in terms of features. You have access to much more timeframes on MT5, and the strategy tester is much better
