On Build 880, it's stored in <DATA>\config\terminal.ini "AlertEditorLimit=5" It is updated when you change an alert. Unfortunately, the value isn't used when creating an alert. Write to the service desk.

Hi All,
There are default values in MT4 when creating an alert, like "maximum iterations = 5"
How can we change this to a different value; its irritating that for every alert, we have to manually change the default value.
Thanks
