how do you program a trade in metatrader 4 for cfd's like dow , sp , nasdaq etc?

i can use ordersend to enter trades in metatrader 4.

if i enter the dow etc, the trade is not executed.


any advice?

Check the log to see why it's not executed.

i get nothing in the log



using 'SPX500' in mql4 ordersend performs nothing, if i change the symbol to 'Eurusd', then i do get a lot of eurusd trades.

Attach the EA to a SPX500 chart and just use Symbol() in the OrderSend
