I've got Windows 8 64 bits, and I've got it installed in Program Files x86.

I right clicked the MT4 icon and pressed run as administrator and now the editor works. Thank you so much for your help!

Hi, I've got a strange problem where I want to edit a source code but MT4 doesn't let me do it.
When I click on the icon that looks like a yellow diamond with an exclamation mark (or shortcut F4), it is non-responsive and does not open up the source code like it used to.
I tried uninstalling the MT4 software and reinstalling it, but it's still the same.
Has anyone else had this problem before? I really don't know how to fix it and will be so grateful if you can help.
