limits of backtesting

Hi,

I am getting the following messages from my strategy tester:

"There were 134 passes done during optimization

...: optimization stopped, 954 cache records where used, 954 cache records rejected"

Unter the green running time line below the main few windows is

1 088 / 1 280 (39 204) written.

And the tester did only 134 runs.

How can I adjust my tester to make more runs??

It did all 1280 runs. Only 134 were profitable. If you want to see ALL, optimize results -> right click -> show useless results, then run.

I am wondering, because I can't see in the trade list all runs (only 134). I removed the choice of showing only positive results.

Another point is, that when I save my optimization but I can't see the settings. How can change this??

I'm not sure you can, I copy all the lines in the list of runs and save it to a txt file

Hi, I am still having the same problem / questions

What does the three values on the first page of the strategy tester mean:

1 088 / 1 280 (39 204)

OK the first is the acutal number of run.

And perhaps 39204 the number of runs to do with all connections?

Sometimes the value in the brackets it smaler the this before.

@RaptorUK. Thanks for the tipp with copying the results in a txt, this works fine.

But I can't understand that metaquotes doesn't print the optimation settings on my optimation report (html).
