Problem with Live Update executing on Windows 7
May well be a UAC issue, if you installed in Program Files . . . if you did you would be better off installing in a dedicated folder outside of Program Files such as C:\MT4Installs\
I have the same problem. mt4 build 1045 is updated in my windows 10 laptops but one of my laptop has windows 7 which is not being updated by live update.
Is there a way to invoke live update ? By the way I always install mt4 in a separate folder like c:\mt4\

MT4 Live Update is executing fine on Windows XP when a new build becomes available.
It is not executing on Windows 7. I get the pop-up dialog box from Live Update notifying me of a new build being available and asking for permission to proceed with the update, and when I click "Yes", nothing happens, the update does not occur.
Please help.
