need help with no sound - page 2

1. correct, it's an UAC issue that some people have

2. no as long as they are in different directories within Program Files (x86) they are OK . . . UAC issues permitting


ok, well something worked! I tried to move the Oanda folder to C:\ but it still didn't give me sound. Then I just uninstalled the program and reinstalled it to C:\ and it worked!

Thanks so much for taking the time to help me. I was at my wits end on this as a I couldn't find anything initially in a search, so that is why I ended up registering and posting here. I totally appreciate your help.
