- It depends on wither your account is in USD and the pair is xUSD or USDx or no USD. See Pips and Pipettes | How Do You Trade Forex? | Learn Forex Trading

Hi,
Having a temporary moment of confusion.
Lets say I want to sell the same $ amount of EURUSD, EURCHF and EURJPY, lets say $10 000. How do I calculate the lots sizes.
I would have thought it's $10 000/Current Price/ Lot size, so for a mini account EURUSD trade:
EURUSD = $10 000/ 1.4341/10 000 = 0.69 lots.
EURCHF = $10 000/ 1.0937/10 000 = 0.91
and lastly for JPY I'd have to /100 or * 100 to get the ratio right.
Yet if I place the trades on a platform like Oanda all three trades have the exact same sizes. So - what am I missing?
