2) rEFIt is only a bootmanager, you still need the bootcamp solution.
Bootcamp cons: you have to reboot to switch OS, if you trade or develop much you won't use OSX.

I use wine. A windows emulator. With winebottler its an easy installation
Winebottler sounds like a good option. Is it stable?
Win slows down over time. Hope mac is more stable.
No stability issues on my side (mac pro, snow leo) The only thing i noticed is that emulated programs use the the windows shortcuts for copy/paste.
A well i forgot to add that you might cannot use the latest build trough wine. i use still 226
