I am running Win7 x64 with no problems. I did change the security policy on the MT4 installation folder so as not to use windows 'virtual store' (which I find annoying).

Don't need to do that, just don't install in \program files(x86) IBFX installer automatically installs in \IBFX Trader 4

In that case, depending on the type of user and security settings, u still need to install in a folder with the right privileges. It should always be safe to install in a folder somewhere in c:\Users\user_name\...

Has anybody also experienced this?
MT4 seems more slow, sometimes stays stuck, or takes time to react when I click on the icons, esp. to change time frames M1 M5 etc
Could that be a compatibility problem?
Does anybody knows how to fix this? Or simply ro run MT under XP?
