mt4 not asking me to upgrade to 226 build

Hi,

2 of my mt4s asked me to upgrade and so I did.

2 other mt4s doesnt ask me to upgrade.

How do I force my MT4 to check for the new version?
 

Are they same or different brokers?
Some brokers issue builds at less frequent intervals rather than just going for each new build as it first becomes available, so their installations dont have the auto-updater file

they are from same broker.
 
Are they connecting to the same MT4 server at that broker?

(3 upgraded, 1 didnt offer upgrade)

The 3 that offered the upgrade are from the same server, and are all on demo accounts.

The one that didnt offer the upgrade is on a live account.
 
Try swapping your live account onto one of the upgraded instances. And then swap your demo account onto the old instance. See if that forces an upgrade.

I hesitated to do that as it is on real money. Today, it did ask for the update. I guess the real-money-trading accounts were offered updates only on rest days - when the market is closed.
