Using Metatrader via proxy

I would like to use Metatrader 5 at my workplace behind a strict policy. Here I couldn't use the Metatrader directly.
I could set up here a VPN to my PC at home with help of a tool and I created a proxy on my PC. Evrything works at my worklplace via my proxy, forinstance I could use even my internet banking (https).
I set in the Metatrader to use my proxy but it doesn't work (running the Metatrader on my PC at home via my proxy is working). The Metatrader sees the access.metatrader5.com:443 server when it scans the servers but it doesn't work.
Could somebody help me?
