Script for running a lot of optimization runs

I'd like to be able to run a lot of optimization runs of many different strategies, one right after the other, in MT.  I don't think there is any feature of MT that will allow me to do this directly.  But I beleive there must be some kind of scipting language (perl?) that could do the job of waiting to see that the current optimazation run is over, copying the results to Excel and saving the results, and then starting a new optimization run of a given strategy with a given set of parameters.

Think the Russians already have suggested something for this

"The Russians".

Still makes me think of Stalin, Lenin, etc.  Why is there such a huge Russian following for MT, anyway?  Was MT created in Russia?

Thanks, BarrowBoy.

Russian classical music, best ever written, BTW...  Shostakovich, Stravinsky, Schnittke, Prokofiev...

Certainly 'in Russian' - but actually in Kazan, one of the newly independent republics
