I posted this question a few months back and phy showed me it was solvable, but I couldn't reach him for the final code...
I'm trying to build an indicator that adds a horizontal 'tail' to a confirmed fractal (swing high/low)? A tail that ended ONLY at the point that the fractal was overtaken by price. like this mock up:
I think this would be very useful, not just for fractal-break traders like myself, but as an cumulative support/resistance indicator...
This is the chart that phy posted, showing it to be possible:
I was just trying to resurrect the request and get it on to a chart... :-)
