For what it's worth, the tick data with MetaTrader 5 includes the spread. I assume that means it will be available in the history as well, which would make the MT5 backtest much more realistic for strategies that are significantly affected by the spread. The backtester isn't implemented in the Beta yet, so we'll have to wait and see.

My weekend spread becomes 100 and now my EA went hay wire...
Pardon my ignorance but i don't see what the problem is. If I buy on the current ask and then sell on the current bid what difference does the spread make?

If you buy on current ask, the price done would be the actual price + spread.
my weekend spread become 100... so all my backtest results gone hay wire...hate to waste my weekend like this..
