Telegram to MT5 Multi-Channel Copier automatically copies trading signals from your Telegram channels straight to MetaTrader 5. No bots, no browser extensions, no manual copying. A signal arrives in Telegram and the EA opens the trade in your terminal within seconds. And before you copy a channel, the built-in backtester shows you what that channel would have done in your account.

How it works

The app connects with your own Telegram account, so it sees every channel, group, topic or bot you follow — private and VIP ones included. When a signal arrives, the app reads it and the EA opens the trade in your terminal with your lot size and your settings.

The whole process is automatic. You don't need to sit in front of the computer. Built to run 24/7 unattended: if the Telegram connection drops, the application reconnects automatically.

1. Open the application and log in to Telegram (first time only).
2. Select the channels or topics you want to listen to.
3. Press Start. The EA does the rest.

Complete setup in 5-10 minutes. And if the Telegram verification code never reaches you, you can log in by scanning a QR code with your phone — no code needed.

The application is available in 11 languages: English, Spanish, Portuguese, German, French, Italian, Russian, Turkish, Chinese, Japanese and Korean. Choose it in the Setup tab.

Backtest: test a channel before you copy it

The Backtest tab of the application downloads a channel's message history, reads every signal with the same parser the copier uses and replays it on real M1 candles of your broker, exported automatically by the EA. Choose the channel, how many days back to read and the lot, press Backtest and the report opens in your browser.

The report shows:

• Net result, win rate, profit factor and maximum drawdown, with the equity curve.
• Results by day, week or month, to compare them with the summaries the channel itself publishes.
• A chart for every signal with the entry line, the exact time the message arrived, the SL, every TP and the exit, with zoom and timeframe switching.
• The signals the provider edited after posting, marked.

The result is on the cautious side: when a candle touches both the stop and the target, the loss counts. With one click the backtest uses the same settings as your EA, so the report shows what your EA would really have done with that channel.

Supported signal formats

It reads the signals the way channels really write them: entry price or zone, one or several take profits, stop loss, "BUY NOW", emojis, bold text, mixed languages, and numbers in any format. Gold, forex, indices, stocks, oil and crypto are recognised out of the box.

Follow-up messages are handled too: move to breakeven, close, cancel a pending order, change the SL or a TP, or an edit of the original message — each one is applied to the right trade. A "BUY NOW" followed by the full order (or the other way round) is one trade, and a message posted twice is copied once.

Result summaries, "TP reached" posts and market commentary are never traded. Channels that post signals as images are supported with OCR (free, external).

Smart symbol resolution

The EA knows the usual names of gold, forex pairs, indices, stocks, oil and crypto and finds your broker's version by itself, suffixes included. For anything unusual, the app lets you match any word the channel uses to your broker's exact symbol.

Risk management

Four risk modes available:

• Fixed lot — always trades the same lot size.
• Percent of balance — risks a fixed percentage per trade. Requires an SL in the signal.
• Fixed money — risks a fixed amount per trade. Requires an SL in the signal.
• From the signal — uses the lot the provider writes, with a safety cap you set.

If the signal has no SL and you use the percent or money modes, the EA falls back to a configurable backup lot so the trade is not discarded.

Order execution

Market vs pending orders. The EA automatically decides whether to open a market or a pending order based on the distance between the signal price and the current market. The threshold is configurable in pips, and you can also force every signal to execute at market. "BUY NOW" or "SELL NOW" signals are executed at market even if they carry a price, with the input "Execute 'BUY/SELL NOW' signals at market even if they carry a price".

Spread compensation. If the channel's levels look one spread off on your broker, one option lines them up.

Multiple take profits. When a signal includes several TP levels, you can open one position per TP or use only the first one. You can also limit how many TPs are used.

Multiple entries. When a signal carries several entry prices, you can use just one, open a separate order per price, or distribute a grid of orders across the range.

Default SL and TP. If the signal has no Stop Loss, the EA applies one at a configurable distance from the entry price. Same for the Take Profit.

Discard rules. You can choose to ignore signals with no entry price, or with no Stop Loss. Useful for prop firm rules.

With the gap at 0, every signal becomes a pending order at its exact price. And when a channel opens with TP1 and adds more targets later by editing the message, you choose whether to open them and with what lot — the open trade is never touched.

SL and TP override

Sometimes the channel's SL and TP don't fit your risk plan. Custom SL and Custom TP let you completely override what the channel sends and always use your own fixed pip distance from the entry price.

Each override is independent — you can force your own SL while keeping the channel's TP, or the other way around.

Different from the default SL/TP, which only fill in when the signal has none. You can also move the channel's levels a fixed number of pips with "Add N pips to every TP" and "Add N pips to the SL".

Trade management

Three independent features you can enable separately or combine, to manage open positions without waiting for manual channel updates.

Partial close + breakeven. Automatically closes a percentage of the position when it reaches a profit in pips, then moves the Stop Loss of the remainder to breakeven. Supports a single level or a multi-level ladder (pips:percent) to replicate your provider's TP1/TP2/TP3 management.

Standalone breakeven. Moves the Stop Loss to the entry price once the trade reaches a configurable profit — without closing any part of the position.

Trailing stop. The stop follows the price at the distance you choose once the trade is in profit. Optionally it cancels the pending orders of the same signal or removes the TP so the move can run.

Filters

Fine control over which signals the EA executes:

• Allowed symbols — trade only specific instruments.
• Blocked symbols — ignore specific instruments.
• Allowed channels — trade only signals from specific channels.
• Blocked channels — ignore signals from specific channels.

Channel names can be typed as they appear in Telegram, emojis included, and each topic of a forum channel can be filtered on its own.

These filters are especially useful when you run several EA instances in different terminals, each processing a different set of channels or instruments.

Custom keywords. From the application you can add your own keywords for each action — useful for providers using unusual phrases or other languages.

Multi-terminal support

The Windows application detects every MT4 and MT5 installation on your computer and lets you choose which terminals receive the signals. You can use the default shared mode or route signals to a specific terminal — any combination of MT4 and MT5 is supported.

Each EA copy can carry its own identifier (input "Unique ID per EA"), so several instances — even inside the same terminal — process each signal independently, each with its own filters.

Combined with the channel and symbol filters, this lets you run independent strategies on different accounts.

Performance panel

A window drawn on the chart shows, for every signal channel, the number of trades, the win rate and the net result of the last day, week, month or the whole history, with one click. Hover a row for pips, average per trade and profit factor; export the closed trades to CSV; collapse the panel to a one-line pill that remembers its state. When you listen to a forum-style channel, every topic gets its own row.

Update and close handling

When a channel sends an update about an earlier signal, the EA applies it to the right trade — whether it was sent as a reply or as a separate message. A close instruction closes the positions and deletes the pending orders of that signal. If a channel is renamed, you keep following it.

Support Bundle

If something does not work as expected, one click in the app creates a ZIP with the logs and your settings, ready to send with your support message. Your private data is removed first. The Diagnosis button also checks your whole setup and tells you what to fix.

The Windows application is mandatory — it is the component that connects to Telegram and feeds the EA with signals.

Frequently asked questions

Can I use it with any Telegram channel? Yes. The application uses your personal Telegram account, so it can read any channel you are subscribed to, including private and VIP ones. No bot token needed.

Can I test a channel before copying it? Yes. The Backtest tab replays the channel's history on real M1 candles of your broker and gives you the real result of its signals, day by day, to compare with what the channel publishes.

Does it support forum-style channels with multiple topics? Yes. Each topic appears individually in the application and is tracked separately in the Performance Panel.

Does it work with channels that send images? Yes. Enable OCR in the Setup tab. Requires installing Tesseract OCR (free, external).

Can I listen to several channels at the same time? Yes. You can add and remove channels without stopping the listener. Every signal is tagged with its source channel or topic.

How do I check that it reads my provider's signals correctly? Forward any signal to your Saved Messages and follow them as a channel: the log shows how it was read. And everything works the same on a demo account.

My provider manages trades with messages (breakeven, closes, SL changes)? Supported. Those instructions are detected and applied to the correct trade automatically, with no need for them to be replies to the original message.

What if my broker uses a different symbol name? The EA resolves it automatically in most cases. For non-standard cases, use the Custom Symbol Matches dialog to map the term to your broker's exact symbol.

Which languages is the application in? 11: English, Spanish, Portuguese, German, French, Italian, Russian, Turkish, Chinese, Japanese and Korean. The EA inputs are in English.

What do I do if I need help with a problem? Use the application's Support Bundle button to generate a ZIP with logs and configuration, and attach it to a message through my MQL5 profile.

Is my Telegram account safe? Yes. The application uses the official Telegram API through your own credentials. It is 100% local: it talks directly to Telegram, with no third-party servers in between, and nothing leaves your computer. The session appears in Telegram → Settings → Devices and you can revoke it at any time.
