Correct and qualitative optimization of the EA is called a forward test and includes two stages. At the first stage the EA is optimized on a certain historical fraction of time which is called a test (historical) period. Testing results are represented in a table as input parameters. The EA is launch with the best parameters on a new time period where the EA dose not know how to behave. Such period is called a forward period. If the EA demonstrates good testing results (not optimized for this period!) on this period either, there is a high probability that it will have the same readings when trading.

Operation of the PROFESSIONAL ADVISOR EA has been tested in such a manner on EURUSD M5, the testing (historical) period is from 2012.06.01 to 2013.07.01 and the forward period is from 2011.07.01 to 2015.07.10, before the product has been published in the MQL5 Market.
Forward test of the EA has been performed before and after the test (historical) period. The total time of the forward test is 3 (three) years and 1 (one) year with the test (historical) period.

Apart from the fact that the EA works on M5, the symbol history should be downloaded till H4 before testing!

'Optimization, OnTester calculation methods' variable now provide the ability to optimize by 'calculation of balance recovery factor' parameter.
Balance recovery factor is the ratio of the Net profit against the Maximum balance drawdown.

Equity recovery factor is the ratio of the Net profit against the Maximum equity drawdown.
4. Changed trading strategy optimization method when selecting
'Optimization, OnTester calculation methods: - calculation of interest' parameter.
Added the ratio of trades against Maximum equity drawdown to calculations.
5. Reached higher performance for trading strategy optimization and testing. Now, these operations are performed 20% faster as compared to the previous version (3.70). Also, the EA now consumes less computing resources in standby mode.
