Visual analysis of trades meeting an EA entry criteria. Criterias are based on MA on 3 time frames.
note: I have an EA which currently does have the entry criteria already developed and working, but the visualisation is in-adequate so the developer can choose to work off the current EA or start from scratch.
PART 1
The request is to create a visual chart which displays the following information for all trades meeting the EA entry criteria
| Price Difference | Can be manually set in the EA option. Or based on the price range of the instrument over the periods 4H, 1D, 1WK, 2WK, 1M, 3M, 1YR) |
| Instrument | The EA will point to a .set file in the \MQL\File directory. The file will include currency & stocks |
| Current Price | Current value of the item |
| Conversion | Indicates conversion rate to GBP. If the instrument is not a currency pair, conversion should state 'NA' |
| Lot | Default '1000' can be set manually in EA. Note as I have a micro account, 1000 is the equivalent of 0.01 trade lots. |
| Movement | Default '0.05' can be set manually in EA |
| Value | Indicates the value of the trade based on the given value ((Price range * Lot Size) * Conversion Rate to GBP) |
| Margin | Calculates the margin currently attributed to this instrument/pair, if a trade is live on the account. If the trade is not live, calculate the margin using the above information (lot size, price e.t.c.) specified in the EA and have a star or symbol indicating there is not an acocmpanying live trade |

| TF1 | Indicate instrument price with respect to MA settings for timeframe 1 entry i.e. Up arrow where above EMA, up arrow with X where crossing EA - apply same logic to short positions using Down arrows) |
| TF2 | Indicate instrument price with respect to MA settings for timeframe 2 entry i.e. Up arrow where above EMA, up arrow with X where crossing EA - apply same logic to short positions using Down arrows) |
| TF3 | Indicate instrument price with respect to MA settings for timeframe 3 entry i.e. Up arrow where above EMA, up arrow with X where crossing EA - apply same logic to short positions using Down arrows) |
EA Entry Requirement;
Sample Visualisation Display <Note: Both sets of information should be on the same chart>. Must be able to scroll table/visual as it could include more stocks/currency pair than is visible on a single chart window. Should also have a time indicating when last the visual was refreshed.
EA Options should include the following (In addition to the options outlined above for the entry specs)
Refresh Rate: How often the EA should automatically reload itself
Price Option: [Manual, 4H, 1D, 1WK, 2WK, 1M, 3M, 1YR)
Price: (If manual use price value entered here)
Lot size
Price Range
Instrument List: Name of set file with instrument list to analyse. Where this is blank, simply use the market watch window.
Part 2;
1. Update to Current EA: Open a trade every X minutes, where a symbol continues to meet the entry criteria. E.g. if GBPUSD remains within the requirement for entry, open a new trade in GBPUSD after X minutes has passed.
2. The Max symbol limit field should stop new trades being opened against the same symbol once the limit is reached.
