I am in need a coder that can speed up a custom indicator for me (it is attached). As you can see this indicator calculates many moving average types and I am using it in my EA (via iCustom() function) as a replacement for iMA. However, while it works correctly, when backtesting it is SO much slower with the attached indicator (like 30 times slower), even though for the test I am using a the same Moving Average Type (Simple) like when using iMA() function from Metatrader. So I guess the attached indicator in someway is not really optimized or maybe calculates to many bars beyond the period I am passing to it, compared to the normal Metatrader iMA() function, or maybe it also always calculates all MA types it has included.
No idea, but it is much to slow and I need this to be speeded up to the speed of the internal iMA() function, at least for the types like SMA/EMA etc that the internal iMA() function also offers. The rest might of cause be slower since they are special MA types. In any case: I want this iCustom optimized as much as somehow possible. It would also be OK to convert this custom indicator to a function that I can use within my EA.
