In realtà, il termine tecnico corretto per questo sistema è "flip trading", ma abbiamo comunque scelto di dare al sistema un nome contenente hedge poiché solo si adatta al tipo di esperto per la pubblicazione e la catalogazione nella piattaforma Mql5.

Allora qual è la definizione di sistema di flip trading? Nel trading, il termine "flip" viene spesso utilizzato per descrivere una situazione in cui un trader cambia la propria posizione da lunga a corta, o viceversa, spesso in modo rapido. Questo di solito viene fatto in risposta alle mutevoli condizioni del mercato che indicano un potenziale spostamento nella direzione dei movimenti dei prezzi. Ad esempio, supponiamo che un trader Forex abbia una posizione lunga sulla coppia GBP/USD. Ciò significa che hanno acquistato GBP e venduto USD, aspettandosi che la GBP si apprezzi rispetto al USD. Se, tuttavia, escono nuovi dati economici o si verifica un evento significativo che suggerisce che la GBP potrebbe deprezzarsi rispetto al dollaro, il trader potrebbe decidere di “capovolgere” la propria posizione.
