Settings

- Start Trade Volume: This is the initial size of the trade that the EA will execute. It is expressed in lot size.
- Autolot: When enabled, the EA will automatically calculate the trade volume based on the account balance and the specified risk level.
- Risk level: This determines the amount of lot used based on the account balance when Autolot is enabled.
- Unique Magic Number: A unique identifier for the trades opened by this EA, allowing it to manage its trades separately from others.
- Spread Allowed: The maximum spread, in points, that the EA will accept for executing trades.
- Max Concurrent Orders: The maximum number of trades that the EA can have open at the same time.
- Enable Concurrent Buying And Selling: If set to true, the EA can have both buy and sell orders open at the same time.
- Max Trade Volume: The maximum volume that a single trade can have. If set to 0, this feature is disabled.
- Allow New Series: Determines whether the EA is allowed to start new series of trades.
- Permit Buy Orders: If true, the EA is allowed to place buy orders.
- Permit Sell Orders: If true, the EA is allowed to place sell orders.
- Single Trade Per Bar: Restricts the EA to executing only one trade per bar or candlestick on the chart.
- Trade Execution Timeframe: The timeframe on which the EA will execute trades.
- Bar Opening Alternation: This parameter can be used to alternate the bar opening for trade execution.

    I use Stratos Bora with usd/cad in M30, some settings need to be done but the result is impressive. I set the Take Profit to 200 and I do not recommend enabling the autolot parameter

    I don't believe Michela has such good EAs and they are free. I am seriously considering buying the Hippo shortly.

    I use Stratos Bora with usd/cad in M30, some settings need to be done but the result is impressive. I set the Take Profit to 200 and I do not recommend enabling the autolot parameter

    I used Bora and Zephyr on demo accounts for 2 weeks, and unfortunately, I can't recommend them, even though the developer provided set-files upon request. Both of them operate on a strategy of constantly increasing the trade size – if the first trade of 0.01 doesn't make a profit, the second trade of 0.02 is opened to break even on a small move in the desired direction, then it's 0.03, 0.04 and so on. In the case of a strong trending move, such a strategy consumes margin like popcorn, and if you add funds, EA immediately opens another trade in the same direction. To implement such a strategy, you would need to have $10-20k in your account, but the profit would be low, making the use of the advisor almost pointless.

    Very tricky EA to use. If you choose to use the Grid & Martingale features it has, that will only end in possible outcome. However, you can control that in the settings. What got me was the the EA kept opening sell positions even though the trend has changed to an uptrend. It did that on three currency pairs, ultimately resulting in me getting a margin call from my broker. Seems like it will open a trade, let's say a sell trade. If the price then starts moving the other way, it will by default start opening up more sell trades for you, in increasing quantities (depending on it's auto lot sizing settings). It will place a few buy orders too but mostly sell orders. This seems like a good way to blow up your account as the trend is now moving up but the ea is fixated on recovering the loss on it's very first sell trade, so it keeps opening more sell trades. in a grid & martingale style. I think to use it profitably, you would need to turn off the grid & martingale settings. Or neutralise them by not using features like incremental autolot sizing. It would have been a great ea if it opened up incremental buy positions if the original sell positions were losing. Or vice-versa. But it doesn't seem to do that in a strategic way. It seems to do it whimsically, without following it's own strategy. I downloaded this ea after watching a youtube video review of it but I am now starting to doubt that person's ea reviews as well. However, don't take my word for it. As you can see, it's got a lot of positive reviews. And it's free, so download and try it. With the right settings, it might actually be a very profitable ea for you.
