As always, your strategy is individual and only you know what pairs you feel most comfortable with, but there are some pairs that are the most liked by their nature: pips movement per day, spread value, capability of analysing through indicators or pre-defined strategies. 

At the next list you can see the Lowest Spread Currency Pairs  and their Average Pips Movement per Day:

EURUSD

USDJPY

GBPUSD

USDCHF

  • Spread: 4
  • Spread as a percentage of maximum pip potential: 4/94= 4.26%

EURJPY

There a couple of pairs I like a lot due to their daily and weekly moves, but spread is larger: GBPNZD and EURNZD, EURGBP has also been quite praised during 2019 and 2020 due to the Brexit and the Volatility created by it. GBPs might still need to evolve, especially for EURGBP but their daily movements are quite fun.
