Lower leverage = lower risk (and lower profits).

But you will require more capital in your account for every position. 

 

If someone plan for an industry, factory or any project, they always try to get bank loan to complete the project. So why should not get the same in forex market? That's why I like 1:500 ( Lol )

 
Ive always found 1:100 most ideal.
 

Which is the difference between

open trade size 1 with leverage 1:500 and

open trade size 10 with leverage 1:50 ?  :)

 
The leverage is only a instrument, that helps you to trade with less money for the same effect. The risk of a trade is made by the stoploss (or without) and the size of contract.
