NO.
 
MQL4 and MQL5 are similar.  However, like Alain said, you cannot use 5 in 4.  The metaeditor can read and compile both types of files, so that part has you covered.  However, there are some differences between the languages that mean you cannot simply rename an MQL5 file to an MQL4 copy.  It will probably need to be tweaked afterwards.
