MT4 and MT5 are completely different trading platforms. It means: it is impossible to upgrade MT4 to MT5.

The Metatrader is not requited to you to login. You need to login to your trading account you created with some broker for your money. So, ask your broker for support. If it is demo account so please note that many brokers are proposing the demo accounts for limited time only, and if it is your case - you can open the other demo account with any broker (or many demo accounts with the brokers).

Any help will greatly be appreciated.
