menu color problems

My menus in MT4 build 203 and lower can't be seen because the menu selections are the same color as the menu back ground. I have a ATI AIW 9700 with up to date drivers. All my other programs menus are fine. Anybody ever ran into this problem? For some reason MT4 isn't using the system colors. Can the menu colors be changed within MT4?

I tried that first but it didn't affect MT4 just all my other programs. This was strange for sure. There are some internals in MT4 that don't work with my system's color system.....Thanks
 
Also some windows themes are incorrect. Try to change theme (not color scheme)

I tried changing color themes/schemes and went into the advanced setting to manipulate individual items with no luck in MT4. If I could just get the back ground menu color not to be white in MT4 I could at least see the items.
