Expert Advisor with Live Alerting

Hi everybody,

     I need small help, i have written a EA and back tested , want to test it in Live. 

     Is there anyway to do that, don't want to do auto trade. 

     I want to run EA with latest current data. is it possible in MT5?

     Every time i run, it gives data until 1 night before.

This might seem obvious, but why not demo? If you do not trust your broker to give you same data between demo and live, then, get a new broker.

Thanks for your reply, Right now i am doing my EA Testing with demo account, Some where i read in MT5 EA can give only day old data, so thought of taking help from community if any trick is there to get latest data in EA.

Let me try with another broker demo account..

I will update here my findings once testing completed. 

 

Hi, I tried with 1) another demo account and 2) created custom symbol with imported live data and tried to test my EA

In both cases, EA executed and stopped results 1 night before, EA working fine. But when it hits todays data then EA is not executing any trades..

Is it limitation of EA , that we can't test it with live data?

Appreciate any help here.
