My trading platform has been freezing and showing lag.

Was there an outage affecting South Africa?

 
If your platform is lagging, the problem is your platform, what you are running on it.

The application (platform) resides on your computer, not on the Internet.

If there is lag then it is because of one or more of the following reasons:

  1. Your computer
  2. Your local network
  3. Your Internet Service provider (and related international connections)
  4. Your broker's network
In all the above cases, MetaQuotes services are not included. The only exception would be if you were using MetaQuotes beta-testing demo accounts.
