Don't tell me there isn't a single command in mql4 to count decimals from a value or variable

Someone has already solved a similar problem, but the solution seems too complicated to me. https://www.mql5.com/en/forum/156865 Example: I have value of RSI 73,21 or a variable that is keep storing:

eu=iRSI("EURUSD",_Period,14,PRICE_CLOSE,0);eu=NormalizeDouble(eu,2);
If value is 73.21 I need result 2 If value is 73.2 I need result 1 If value is 73 I need result 0 If there isn't a single command so is it possible to solve this without any loop, only using conditions?

There is no such common function because floating point numbers are not "decimal". They are binary. Try to learn how floating point numbers on computers work and don't use NormalizeDouble unless you know what you are doing.

NormalizeDouble, It's use is usually wrong, as it is in your case.

  1. Floating point has a infinite number of decimals, it's your not understanding floating point and that some numbers can't be represented exactly. (like 1/10.)

  3. SL/TP (stops) need to be normalized to tick size (not Point) — code fails on non-currencies.

  4. Open price for pending orders need to be adjusted. On Currencies, Point == TickSize, so you will get the same answer, but it won't work on non-currencies. So do it right.

  5. Lot size must also be adjusted to a multiple of LotStep and check against min and max. If that is not a power of 1/10 then NormalizeDouble is wrong. Do it right.
