Just paste the ex4/5 file into the MT4/5 >> File >> Open Data Folder >> MQL4/5 >> Experts folder and restart your terminal.

I've done that but is does not show up. do i need to get an account first?

Do you mean a trading account?

You don't need a trading account for putting your EA in the Experts folder, but you will need an active/valid demo or real trading account in order to open a live chart and attach it on it.
