It seems they added this as an update to later builds of MetaEditor, but I never saw anything about it in the change logs, nor in the documentation (maybe it is there somewhere).

William Roeder #: Minor difference in MT4 version (2395). Enter completes the name and adds empty parentheses. Delete the right one, backspace the left one and then tab.

Did not read properly it on the first time around, but good catch there. 👍

So it was mentioned back in 2011 and we are only now re-discovering it after another 11 years 😂 (EDIT: 12 years).

I've gone over the documentation again, and it definitely is not there. They never updated it.

It seems that instead of [ENTER] for the function selection you can also use [TAB].

So a double [TAB] when the auto completion list appears will auto complete the function name, parameters and example code block.

What do you mean by "stealth links"?

Do you mean by those auto-complete shortcuts such is "initv", "initl", "tick", etc.?

But that is possible almost everywhere where you can add a link to any text description (and make the text look like a URL).

When there is spam on here, they often do that. They also often post with link and then edit it again, removing the link, but the system preserves the link in the suggestion below the post.
