Copy-Trading: What happens if a signal provider stops issuing them?

Hello everyone,

Again I would like to present some of the questions that I have not found in the detailed guide: https://www.mql5.com/en/forum/10773#q23

It is implicitly understood that the provider can do whatever they want with their signal and I would like to please find answers to the following questions:

1. Can a signal provider really stop broadcasting a signal anytime they want to? If not, under what exact conditions can it stop emitting a signal?

For example:

1.1. Can the provider stop issuing a signal when that signal still has open trades?

2. How does an active subscriber find out that this signal has stopped being broadcast? Does he find out instantly through any of the messaging systems? Does he not find out at all and should he send a private message to the provider when he is do you notice signal inactivity?

Thanks a lot!

Read the rules: https://www.mql5.com/en/signals/rules#part_II and https://www.mql5.com/en/signals/rules#part_III

It may happen that the signal stopped without notice but then the signal provider will not get the (partly?) the blocked subscription fees. So this is an disadvantage for the signal provider ...

Terms of Service Trading Signals: Signal Providers, how to create a signal subscription signals.

Yes, everything can happen and no message will be sent when it happens, so you as a signal subscriber should keep an eye on your subscription and the trades it opens to see if it suits your needs.

If at some point you are not satisfied with a signal or it is deleted, you should suspend your subscription or unsubscribe and manage the remaining copied trades in your account yourself.

As Carl pointed out, when a signal is deleted the signal provider doesn't get the monthly subscription of that month from subscribers.

Thanks! Carl and Eleni Anna for the information provided.
