EA optimizing in MT4 and Mt5

The EA is optimizing OK in the MT4 version but not working in the MT5 version.

This is what it is telling me.


2022.12.11 16:13:46.240 Core 04 genetic pass (0, 326) tested with error "wrong timeframe request in Open Prices mode" in 0:00:00.013

I have previously tested an EA in both versions

You know that MT4 and MT5 are similar but incommensurable?

Yes, I know.

Two different versions are downloaded to suit each MT and used, which I have done ok before.

Just don't why this giving me this outcome.

 

The EA makes trades on a 15min time frame.

I have downloaded the data in 1min time frames and seems to have solved the problem.

I will just have to make a phone call tomorrow to clarify that the outcome is dependable.
