first of all, thank you very much for your effort to build MT4,
I think that I will like it.
Questions, Ambitions, Expectations:
Why there haven't been implemented "TICKbyTICK TimeFrame view",
in that case there will be the possibility for higher freedom of creation.
If the first will be true (or there will exist "real-pseudo" solution) then
it makes sense of TICKbyTICK style of back testing
(it is the only precise back testing solution),
so there will be no problem
to implement
automated back testing (recent solution)(e.g. 1st separate window) and/or
visual back testing (no recent solution)(e.g. 2nd separate window)
(1st one is for expert-codes, 2nd one is for human-experts)
this (e.g.) way:
to implement "slider button"
to emulate real-time quotation and its speed - e.g. 21 Ticks/min
(speed controlled by Ticks -e.g. Ticks/sec-),
and/or
-because every Tick has its own time stamp-
to emulate real-time quotation and its speed - e.g. 21 OfflineMinutes/1RealMinute
(speed controlled by time stamps -e.g. OfflineMinutes/RealMinute-).
If the first will be true (or there will exist "real-pseudo" solution) then
it makes sense of TICKbyTICK style of price substitution into
builtin or custom indicators (C/O/H/L/MP/TP/WC/PID/FID/TICK).
We can feel diferencies between Generic(TickPrice) and Pseudo(ClosePrice) solution.
If the first will be true (or there will exist "real-pseudo" solution) then
everyone will be able to construct his/her time frames and possibly also his/her
own candlestick styles of rendering.
Maybe, it will be very fine to implement layers onto views to allow
"Photoshop style of data analyzing" - online and offline "dynamic".
Or just a simple "sprayer or pen" to be able to create some sketch and
some eraser (wonderful world of layers).
It is clear that there is no pressure to reconstruct MT4 - maybe it is not
necessary.
Or maybe, just some scripts or better #1! plugin by MetaQuotes Software Corp.
Whether with new possibilities or without interest in programming,
MetaTrader 4 is on his best way to reach one level higher.
Just a sigh, take your effort and implement Nodes and MT4 will reach the sky.
Then implementing visual graph construction kit for Nodes and
MT4 will reach the blue sky.
